Standing Together in Prayer
From the Sleep prayer at the Coptic Orthodox Church:
O Immaculate Virgin, let down your helping shadow on your servant, keep the waves of bad thoughts away from me, and help my sick soul to pray and stay awake, for it has fallen into a deep sleep. You are a strong, merciful, helping mother, and mother of the source of life, my king God, Jesus Christ, my hope.
