The Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus has finally reached the Middle East, prompting various health institutions to emphasize on exercising caution; the new strain spreads much easier and has stronger symptoms.
The ME is in no condition to re-impose lockdowns as some have barely withstood the previous wave while others are to launch major projects.
