Standing Together in Prayer

“A person who fasts his mouth from food, and does not fast his heart from sins, and does not fast his tongue from vanities, this person’s fasting is void, even if he surrenders his body to be burned, it does not benefit anything” (His Holiness Pope Shenouda III).
