World Youth Pray Together in an Online Celebration on the Occasion of the “Season of Creation” 2025 Closing

With a lot of joy and hope, the Ecumenical family around the world concluded the “Season of Creation” 2025 with an online Prayer celebration under the theme of the year "Peace with Creation." The celebration was organized by the Ecumenical Youth Committee in the “Season of Creation”, on Saturday, October 4, 2025, coinciding with the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Ecology. Noting that the Season began on September 1, with the Feast of Creation.

The Prayer was led by the Coordinator of the Eco Justice Unit at the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) Father Movses Yosolkanian, and Daisy Yator representing the youth of ACT Alliance international organization. They emphasized the importance of amplifying youth voices and strengthening the role of youth in working to protect God's creation.

Leaders and youth from around the world participated in the celebration, offering their praises and supplications through various Prayers, meditations, and readings, glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and thanking Him for all His gifts. They asked God to grant them determination and wisdom in their Christian and environmental mission.
