"We were honored by the visit to His Excellency the Minister of Information Dr. Paul Morcos, and a delegation from the Middle East Council of Churches, to discuss with him areas of joint activity, particularly in the media, public awareness, and education, especially in light of the rampant situation that the region is witnessing, the proliferation of hostilities, conflicts, and misinformation that is taking place among the public.

We, at the Middle East Council of Churches, conduct programs of this nature and strive to raise public awareness, as much as possible, about the risks involved in all suspicious projects aimed at misleading public opinion.

We found in His Excellency the Minister a receptive ear, acceptance, and positivity in this regard, and we agreed to work in the future on developing joint projects to obtain appropriate support for implementing various awareness campaigns through the Ministry of Information and Lebanese Television in various fields."
