His Beatitude Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian, Catholicos Patriarch of the Armenian Catholic Church of Cilicia, and President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) for the Catholic Family, hosted a dinner in honor of the Lebanese media, at the Armenian Catholic Patriarchate in Achrafieh, Geitawi, on the evening of Friday, August 22, 2025.
Attendees were the Chair of the Board of Directors and Director General of Tele Liban Elissar Naddaf, Representing the Minister of Information Paul Morcos, the Head of Press Syndicate Aouni Al-Kaaki, the Head of Editors Syndicate Joseph El-Kosseifi, the Director of the Information Office at the Presidential Palace Rafik Shalala, the Head of the Catholic Information Center in Lebanon Monsignor Abdo Abou Kasm, the General Director of Charity TV Father Charbel Geagea, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Noursat Jack Kallasi, the Media Advisor to the President Najib Mikati Fares Gemayel, the Deputy Head of the Press Syndicate Salah Takieddine, and the Editor-in-Chief of the National News Agency Rana Chehabeddine.
The Middle East Council of Churches (MECC)' media team also participated, represented by the Journalist Lea Adel Maamary, the Coordinator of Media and Church Relations at MECC, Professor Laure Abi Khalil, the Coordinator of the "Dialogue, Social Cohesion, and Human Dignity" Program at MECC, and Elia Nasrallah, the Communication and Media Officer in the MECC Communication and Public Relations Department. This is in addition to journalists working in print and audio-visual media, websites, and social media platforms.
Following the Lebanese and Armenian national anthems, there were speeches for the occasion.
