Training of Trainers Workshop – Youth Leadership Building

On July 25, 2026, Youth Leadership Building (YLB) held its Training of Trainers workshop at the Armenian Evangelical Nor Marash Church Youth Room, bringing together the leaders in preparation for YLB season 2.
The training provided a space for reflection, prayers, team building, and leadership formation, emphasizing YLB’s vision of developing compassionate, resilient, visionary and servant young leaders. Through worship, interactive activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, leaders explored themes of leadership, teamwork, communication, inclusion, and the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for young people.
Leaders reflected on the qualities that foster growth in adolescents and discussed common challenges encountered in youth ministry and how we should tackle them. The training also addressed effective facilitation skills, safeguarding practices, professional boundaries, and the shared responsibility of accompanying youth with care and integrity. The day concluded with an operational meeting to begin preparations for the first YLB 2 camp, which will be held at KCHAG from September 1–5, 2026.
The workshop served as an important step in strengthening the YLB2 leadership team and reaffirming its commitment to creating communities where young people can grow, lead, and thrive together.
YLB program is developped and organized by the MECC Theological and Ecumenical Department, in collaboration with Bible Society, Ithraa Center, the World Student Christian Federation, and with the support of Kerk in Actie.
