March 8, Greetings of Pope Francis to women from Iraq, will it remove the yoke of masculinity?

According to what journalists who accompanied His Holiness Pope Francis on his trip to Baghdad said before his arrival in Mesopotamia, he had seen reports about women "trafficking" during the control of ISIS on many Iraqi cities, and it affected and pained him.

Pope Francis announced that before he decided to visit Iraq, he had read the book of the young Yazidi woman Nadia Murad in which she talks about her captivity. He later revealed that Nadia's story was one of the reasons he decided to visit Iraq.

7 Months Following the Beirut Blast, Ardem Lost His Life to Psychological Wounds

7 months after of the Beirut explosion, another person falls victim to the after effects of the event. 57-year-old Ardem, as told by his cousin Sanahine Kassabian, had his house devastated. He lost the pet shop he owned in Gemmayzé located just meters away from the port. This left him “mentally and emotionally broken. He couldn’t eat, sleep nor talk,” explained Kassabian.

Someone or some entity wanted him off the investigation and as a result, he was replaced by Judge Tarek El Bitar. Families of the victims were devastated by this news as this showed that the state would never hold the powerful to account.
