On September 19, 2021, Syriac Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Aphrem Cathedral in Sweden.

His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Dioscorus Benjamin Atas, Patriarchal Vicar in Sweden, Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Julius Hanna Aydin, Director of Foreign Relations in Germany, Mor Polycarpus Augin Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar in Holland, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.

In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the importance of being watchful in the spiritual ministry that we offer. He also pointed out that the true shepherd will lead the flock by carrying the cross and walking in the footsteps of the Lord. He added that the spiritual joy is great in the celebration of the silver episcopal jubilee of His Eminence Mor Dioscoros Benjamin Atas who serves the faithful by self sacrificing and giving.
