Marking the Eve of the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord to the Temple at the St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Lebanon

On Sunday, February 13th, 2022, the eve of the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple was celebrated at St. Gregory the Illuminator Cathedral in Antelias, presided over by His Holiness Catholicos of Cilicia Aram I. During the special service, Antasdan (Blessing of the Four Corners of the World), presenting the children to the altar for blessing, and the traditional bonfire took place.

On this occasion, His Holiness Catholicos Aram I delivered his pontifical message where he emphasized the importance of offering our children as well as ourselves to the Lord, following the example of the Virgin Mary and Joseph.
