On May 7, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church of the World, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches, participated in the inaugural session of the Conference titled: Christians in the Arab Levant and Ambitions for Unity and Enlightenment, held upon the invitation of Prince Hassan bin Talal, President of the Royal Institute for Religious Studies, in Amman, Jordan.
His Holiness Catholicos Aram, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, and their Beatitudes Patriarch Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan, Syriac Catholic Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Theophilus III, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem, and Raphael Bedros XXI Minassian, Armenian Catholic Patriarch, also attended the conference.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Anthimos Jack Yacoub, Patriarchal Vicar of Jerusalem, Jordan and the Holy Land, Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, and Very Rev. Raban Benyamin Shemoun, were also present at the Summit.
