The Service of the Great Hours of Christmas Presided Over by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III

On the morning of Monday, 23 December 2025 / 5 January 2026, following the Service of Matins in the Patriarchal and Monastic Church of the Saints Constantine and Helen, the Great Hours of Christmas were read, and thereafter the Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom was celebrated.
The Service of the Great Hours, as well as the Divine Liturgy, was presided over by His Beatitude Patriarch Theophilos III, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine and Jordan, who read the Gospel of the First Hour and offered incense according to the rite; thereafter, according to their seniority, the concelebrating Hierarchs read the Gospels of the Third, Sixth, and Ninth Hours, with the other Holy Sepulchre Fathers joining in Prayer.
