The Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia strongly condemns the latest provocation attacks by the Azerbaijani regime which occurred earlier today, infringing the sovereignty of Armenia as well as causing a number of Armenian casualties and injuries.

Azerbaijan continues to neglect human rights while blatantly violating international law.

Tourism has all the times been a favorite practice by people who seek either to visit areas of interest or to seek adventures. However, in modern time tourism has taken a different trend, namely visiting places rich in religious sites and those abounding with traces that reflect past historical events.

Among the Middles Eastern countries which is considered as a jewel for religious and historical tourism is Jordan. This country is a conflation of faith with cultures or rather a country that merges civilization, culture, common living, and beauty.

KAREMLASH, Iraq — An Iraqi priest whose family home was destroyed by ISIS has been consecrated bishop in a church he has spent the past four years restoring.

Chaldean Bishop Thabet Habib Yousif Al Mekko, a popular priest who for many years has dedicated himself to serving the faithful in his native Nineveh Plain town of Karemlash, was consecrated Bishop of Alqosh on Oct. 22 by Cardinal Louis Raphael Sako, the Chaldean Patriarch of Babylon.

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, gave his weekly Wednesday sermon on this Wednesday evening, from the Papal Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The sermon was broadcast live on several Christian satellite television channels, as well as over the Internet on the Church’s Coptic Media Center channel, COC. The sermon was given in the absence of a live congregation.

The Anglican–Oriental Orthodox International Commission held its yearly gathering virtually, from October 26th to the 28th, 2021. The members of the commission shared their reports and updates. The meeting focused mainly on continuing the work on the draft of the current working document of the commission, entitled “The Inheritance of Ecumenical Councils in the Church.”
