Health Sector: The Home Care Project | Lebanon

Home care is a livelihoods training course for both Lebanese and Syrian refugees. This high in-demand project utilizes professional teachers from the University of Balamand Faculty of Health Sciences and teaches participants skills such as first aid, fall prevention, feeding and bathing, and other personal care and safety skills to assist children and older adults in the home. The course is 100 hours and includes both classroom and practical training. The class prepares participants for gaining a job in the home care field after graduation.
