Let Us All Unite Through the Daily Prayers of the Week of Christian Unity 2022

Arabic.

The annual international Prayer Octave will be happening soon, and its preparations are still ongoing, aiming at achieving the goal of building bridges and shortening distances.

The “Week of Prayer for Christian Unity” will be launched next Tuesday on January 18 and will end on January 25. During this week, we pray and sing together praising our Lord Jesus through a special booklet. The theme of this year is focusing on the Christmas star and entitled “We saw his star at its rising and have come to do him homage” (Matthew 2:2).

In fact, the theme was chosen by the Middle East Council of Churches as a message from the East to the whole world. The Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity entrusted MECC with this task, as well as preparing drafts of the booklet’s texts, which includes prayers and meditations specially prepared for this week and from the various Church families.

Below are the daily prayers and meditations in Arabic for the Week of Unity, included in the booklet, and which you may publish and distribute every day.
