On the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, What is the Role of Youth in the Ecumenical Work and What Are their Opinions???

Answers in a Special Episode on Télé Lumière and Noursat

As part of the “Week of Prayer for Christian Unity” 2022 celebrations, Télé Lumière and Noursat prepared in cooperation with the Middle East Council of Churches a special episode entitled “Towards Unity”, focusing on the importance of the Week of Prayer and the role of youth in the ecumenical work. The episode was prepared by the MECC Communication and Public Relations Department and presented by Ralph Tawitian, on Sunday 23 January 2022.

The episode included various ecumenical and youth segments highlighting the "Week of Prayer for Christian Unity ", the MECC mission and the role of youth, the projects of the World Student Christian Federation in the Middle East aiming at strengthening the ecumenical spirit and the youth meeting held on the occasion of the week of prayer. The episode also tackled the activities of the National Committee for Youth Pastoral Affairs in Lebanon especially in building bridges between the youth movements.

Many guests participated in the episode and are the Regional Executive of the World Student Christian Federation in the Middle East Mira Neaimeh, the Media Officer at the MECC Communication and Public Relations Department Elia Nasrallah, Deacon Garin Yousoulkanian from the Armenian Orthodox Church, the Treasurer and Member of the Media Committee at the National Committee for Youth Pastoral Affairs in Lebanon Louis El Khoury Hanna.
