Heavenly Father, we ask You in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ, who raised Lazarus from the tomb, to help us realize that there is no escape from death. We are blessed to believe that He is “the Resurrection and the Life,” so we rise and have eternal life with Him. Amen! (A Prayer of Supplication in Commemoration of Raising of Lazarus).
