Presentation of the Greek Translation of His Holiness Aram I’s “The Armenian Church”
On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Greek translation of His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Catholicos of the Armenian Church, Holy See of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC)’s book, “The Armenian Church,” was presented at the Hellenic Parliament in Athens, with His Holiness in attendance. The event was graced by the presence of Archbishop Ieronimos II, the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece.
The translation was completed by His Excellency Metropolitan Gabriel of Nea Ionia, Philadelphia, Heraklion, and Chalkedon, and published by the Apostoliki Diakonia of the Church of Greece. The event was honored by special guests from both the Greek and Armenian communities.
Metropolitan Gabriel, Professor Evangelos Venizelos, and His Grace Bishop Sahag Yemishian, Prelate of the Armenian Prelacy of Greece, each delivered speeches. They discussed the book’s content and highlighted its significance in understanding the Armenian Church…
