His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II receives His Beatitude Mor Baselius Joseph, Catholicos of India, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh - Lebanon

On August 7, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church of the World, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), received His Beatitude Mor Baselius Joseph, Catholicos of India, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh - Lebanon.

Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Joseph Bali, Patirarchal Assistant, and Mor Christophoros Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs, also attended the meeting.

During the visit, His Holiness and His Beatitude discussed the situation of the church in India.
