On August 8, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Supreme Head of the Syriac Orthodox Church of the World, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), visited his brother in Christ His Holiness Catholicos Aram I, Armenian Orthodox Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, and Honorary President of the Middle East Council of Churches (MECC), at his residence in Bikfaya.

His Holiness was accompanied by His Beatitude Mor Baselius Joseph, Catholicos of India, and their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Christophoros Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for Indian Affairs.
