Στο Ιερό Πατριαρχικό Κέντρο στην Αλεξάνδρεια, συνήλθε σήμερα 7η Οκτωβρίου ε.έ., κατόπιν προσκλήσεως της Α. Θ. Μ. του Πάπα και Πατριάρχου Αλεξανδρείας και πάσης Αφρικής κ.κ. Θεοδώρου Β΄, η Ιερά Σύνοδος της Ιεραρχίας του Αλεξανδρινού Θρόνου, η οποία εφέτος πραγματοποιείται με την ιδιαίτερη ευλογία της συμπληρώσεως ευκλεούς δεκαπενταετίας από της αναρρήσεως στον Αποστολικό Θρόνο του Ευαγγελιστού Μάρκου του Αλεξανδρινού Προκαθημένου.
